Orange City Public Library announces December children’s programs

Orange City, FL. (November 30, 2009) -The Orange City Public Library will present three Storytime sessions in December to help toddlers and preschoolers develop an appreciation for reading. Programs feature stories, music and movement.Storytime begins at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays. “Squeaky Mice” will be read Dec. 2, followed by “Marvelous Toys” Dec. 9, and “Holiday Hoopla!” Dec. 16.

Children are invited to make a holiday gift for Christmas and Hanukkah at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9. All Volusia County public libraries will close at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24 and 31, and will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
